If you didn’t already know, Liwanag Kultural Center (LKC) and PYC-San Mateo County (PYC-SMC) are trying to build a great afterschool opportunity on Friday’s at “The Spot”, aka the JHS Cafeteria. It’s called F.A.C.E.S. (Friday Afterschool Culture & Entertainment at the Spot) and you can get more info on what we’re trying to do by clicking here.

In the next few weeks, the F.A.C.E.S. folks will be distributing flyers to get a sense of the kinds of things JHS students do after school and are interested in doing. We’re hoping to be able to create some great events each month to highlight and celebrate Jeff’s diversity and vibrant youth culture.
