To help this year’s re-launch of F.A.C.E.S., we’ve put together a small, dedicated team to help Jefferson High School students and faculty members put together some great events. Each team member comes to the table with great set of skills, talents, and experience working in the Daly City community as youth advocates and community organizers. Drumroll please…

Sergio Robledo-Maderazo, Project Coordinator
       Sergio is a former Westmoor High School Visual Arts and Music Teacher who has served as a Liwanag Kultural Center Board Member since it started in 2005. A strong supporter of the Arts, Sergio believes in exploring all sorts of creative outlets. As a result, he’s had tons of experience as a talented graphic designer, visual artist, muralist, and recording and perform artist with his band, From Monument To Masses.


Victor Eco
       As a proud employee of the Daly City Parks & Recreation Department, Vic has been helping out with Fridays at the Spot since it began. A talented musician and dancer in his own right, Vic has messed around with almost everything musical: horns, drums, Guitar Hero, DJing, and the official Rare-Cut-iTunes-Selecta of the Liwanag Kultural Center, where he’s been helping out as an Pilipino Youth Coalition Advisor since the beginning. As a dancer, Vic has been messing around with popping, locking, and strutting, performed with GroovMekanex, and served as an instructor for the Pop/Lock Movement dance classes at the Liwanag Kultural Center.


Brian Ragas
       Brian has worked at Jefferson as a Friday Events Coordinator at The Spot for the last year, where he’s worked hard to set the stage for this year’s F.A.C.E.S. launch. A hip-hop and dancehall enthusiast, Brian has recently begun trying his hand at DJing and has started spinning at Poleng Lounge and private events. In addition, Brian brings a ton of experience organizing fun and educational events as a founding member of the Downe Organizing Project at Liwanag Kultural Center.
